Paula Codoñer is an artist working with flowers and photography. With Petals that kiss, embrace, dance and converse her colorful portraits of flowers bring us closer to nature and compel us to appreciate their ephemeral beauty. Photographing flowers come from a personal need to connect with nature and the present moment. Carefully selecting the flowers and the colors, she enjoys experimenting with textures, shapes, blur and movement. Working with flower arrangements and analog photography allows her to create in a relaxed and conscious manner, emphasizing the importance of the process. Through the use vivid tones, visual balance and a minimal composition, she aims to convey a sense of calm and joy in the viewer.
